Blue Wu is a veteran the field of marketing and e-commerce operations with 15 years of excellent service under her belt. As VKC’s residence e-commerce expert and operational partner, she has led her team to provide consulting services to 9 companies on business model generation and operations improvement, particularly in the area of e-commerce and marketing. Her team’s work has also been invaluable to VKC’s branded operations-driven business due diligence. Prior to join VKC, Ms. Wu served in Alibaba China as a Senior Director of Marketing, as well as a board member of ‘Global E-Businessman’ Magazine. During her 5 years’ tenure at Alibaba, through both traditional media and internet channels, Ms. Wu successfully led innovations in marketing, branding and business development, especially Viral Marketing and SNS Marketing for E-Businesses: her “Perfect Policy of the Party” viral marketing campaign won the 2010 Top Marketing Prize (4A Golden Prize). In 2010, Blue and her team creatively bundled more than 280 SMEs together in a batch advertisement purchase on CCTV, resulting in Alibaba winning the Annual Best Branding Prize by “Forbes” and Interbrand, when the brand of ‘Alibaba’ was appraised to be worth than $60m. Blue started her marketing career in in Master Kong and UTStarcom, managing multiple brands and products, while accumulating expertise in business development and channel management.

Ms. Wu holds an Engineering Bachelor's degree from Zhejiang University. She was awarded the Profession Licenses of Marketing and Import/Export Commodity Inspection. In 2006, she acquired the PMP Certificate from Project Management Institute (PMI) in the US.
